Comprised of two sensationally gifted and acclaimed virtuosi, clarinetist Maksim Shtrykov and pianist Misuzu Tanaka, the Shtrykov-Tanaka Duo has been hailed as “a new generation of exquisitely talented performers who elevate our understanding of the world’s music”. Clarinet and piano duos are still rare gems on the modern concert stage and these musicians unite to perform works by Schumann, Brahms, and Borne.
The dynamic father-son team Ken & Brad Kolodner, joined by Alex Lacquement and Rachel Eddy weave together a captivating soundscape on hammered dulcimer and clawhammer banjo blurring the lines of Old-Time, Bluegrass and American Roots. They’ve sculptured their own brand of driving, innovative acoustic sound with a creative curiosity and passion for traditional music.
